QR SwiftScan & Barcode (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects and protects the privacy of all users. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application and describes your rights.

1.1 Personal Information: We do NOT collect any personally identifiable informationWe do not collect, store, upload, or share:

• Name, nickname, email, phone number, ID number
• Location (precise or approximate)
• Contacts, calendar, photos, files
• Unique device identifiers (IMEI, MAC, AAID, etc.)
• User profiles, behavior logs, browsing history

1.2 Camera PermissionWe request camera permission only when you actively use the scanning feature to read QR codes and barcodes.

• All scanning processing happens locally on your device;
• The camera feed is never recorded, saved, or uploaded to any server;
• We cannot view, access, or store your camera feed or scanned content.

1.3 Scanned ContentQR code/barcode content you scan (URLs, text, contact info, etc.) is stored only locally on your device for display, copy, or opening links.

• Scanned data is never automatically uploaded, synced, or backed up;
• We do not collect, view, analyze, or share any of your scanned content.

1.4 Non-Personal Technical Information (Automatically Collected)To ensure stability, security, and improvement, we may automatically collect anonymous, non-identifiable technical information:

• Device type, OS version, app version
• Crash logs (for bug fixes only, no personal data)
• Usage statistics (e.g., scan count, for feature improvement)

This data cannot be linked to any individual user and is regularly deleted after processing.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only for:

• Providing, maintaining, and optimizing scanning functionality;
• Troubleshooting, fixing crashes, and improving stability;
• Enhancing user experience and performance;
• Complying with legal obligations or lawful requests.

We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any of your information.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party SDKs, all compliant with Google Play policies:

• Google ML Kit: On-device barcode/QR recognition, no data upload;
• AndroidX CameraX: Camera access, local processing only;
• Google AdMob (if ads are included): Ad delivery, may collect anonymous device info and advertising ID for ad serving and optimization, not linked to personal identity.You may opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

We do not share any personally identifiable information with third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• All sensitive processing occurs locally on your device;
• No intentional user data uploads;
• HTTPS-only communication where needed;
• Regular security updates to prevent unauthorized access.

5. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it immediately.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Deny camera permission (scanning will be disabled);
• Revoke permissions anytime in device settings;
• Delete local scan history within the app;
• Contact us with private questions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Updates will be posted in the app or on our page with a revised effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
